Founder & President
Experience & Background:
I opened the Management Recruiters of Woodbury office in 1978. Our objective was to develop a team of professional recruiters that would be trained to provide outstanding service to our client companies and candidates. In addition to Woodbury, four other satellite offices were opened in New York and Florida.
Rather than to become a general search firm, our efforts were concentrated on developing four industry specialty areas; Information Technology, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, and Consumer Products. Each area is staffed with a team of Account Managers and Recruiters. This team approach is designed to surface the best candidates available in the industry in a short period of time.
As President, I have focused on providing continuous advanced training to our Account Management staff, and to instill in them a desire to do quality work. A number of our Account Managers have received national awards for Production and Excellence. In addition, our office has been the recipient of "Office of the Year" designation 8 out of the last 10 years.
My philosophy is to provide long-term customer service to a relatively small client base. We are aware of the urgency factor when working on critical staffing requirements, and are trained to achieve results under pressure. I assist our key account managers in planning and executing their assignments. In recognition of our high standards, we have been awarded the "Best of Class" certificate for our commitment to quality, and providing high value and superior customer service to our clients three times since 1998 - An achievement we are most proud of.
Prior to Management Recruiters, I held senior sales and marketing positions with Unilever. Included were Product Management and New Product Development positions with Thomas J. Lipton, and sales management positions with the Good Humor Company.
